Latest notice issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to its affiliated schools, the Class 10th and Class 12th Examination will be scheduled for March 2018. CBSE is scheduled to conduct the practical examination for AISSE and AISSCE in January 2018. The notice also reiterated the schools to relieve regular and experienced teachers of Classes 9th to Classes 12th for time bound evaluation of answer sheets and declaration of results. “Smooth and efficient conduct of class 10 and 12 examinations along with declaration of result in time with accuracy has always been the foremost endeavour of the Board.
However, it has been observed that the schools are not cooperating with the Board in nominating/deputing and relieving their regular and experienced teachers for the process. The directions of the board in this regard are not being followed in letter and spirit.”
The circular further stated the consequences for schools failing to adhere to the teacher’s requirement, “Non-compliance of the directions will be seen as a misconduct and the board will be compelled to take strong action, including penalty and/or further action of disaffiliation.”
CBSE has instructed the schools to ensure all teachers from Class 9th till 12th register themselves on the examination portal of CBSE before 5th January 2018 for timely identification and intimation of the teachers shortlisted by the Board.
