After releasing the admit cards for National Eligiblity cum Entrance Exam (NEET) 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has now released a new notification regarding the dress code to be worn by students during the examination. CBSE has issued a long list of rules and the kind of dress code to be followed by the 2018 NEET aspirants.
Keeping in mind last year’s gaffe, CBSE has asked both the male and female medical aspirants to wear half sleeves light- coloured clothes sans huge buttons, brooches, badges or any other kind of ornamental accessory with either salwars or trousers.
Shoes is prohibited for both the male and female candidates. Slippers with low heels and sandals will be allowed inside the examination centres. Those wearing clothes signifying religiousness like skull caps, burqa or turban, will have to report to the examination centres an hour before the commencement of the exam.
Apart from the specific attire which needs to followed, students are prohibited from carrying pens and pencils, or any kind of stationary, communication devices etc. They will not be allowed to take their water bottles inside the exam hall also.
CBSE has stressed on the importance of dress code and has asked all the students to dutifully adhere to it. NEET 2018 is scheduled on May 6 from 10 am to 1 pm.
