Ancient Mesopotamia

History of Mesopotamia

Mesopotamia represents the ground between the rivers. The area was the centre of a culture whose power spread throughout the Middle East and as far as the Indus valley, Egypt, and the Mediterranean.

Many of the towns of Mesopotamia are built of second-hand bricks of very good quality, brought from the defaults of Babylon, and the cement on them is more aged and likely harder still.
