Geometric Probability

If the total number of outcomes of  a trial in a random experiment is infinite, in such cases, the definition of probability is modified and the general expression for the probability P of occurrence of an event is given by

geometrical probability

Where, measures means length or area or volume of the region, if we are dealing with one, two or three dimensional space respectively.
