## Types of Points :-

There are two types of points, which is given below:

**1**.**Collinear Points and Non-Collinear Points:-**

**(a)** **Collinear Points:** Three or more points are said to be collinear points if they lie on a single straight line. **For example**, you have eggs in a carton; each egg in one row is a collinear point.

**(b)** In Non-Collinear Point **we can not draw a single straight line** that passes through all these points.

**2**.**Coplanar Points and Non-Coplanar Points:-**

**(a) Coplanar Points:**Two or more points are declared to be coplanar if they lie on the same plane.

**(b)** **Non- Coplanar Points:** Two or more points are declared to be non-coplanar if they do not lie on the same plane.
